At Boardsox, we build surf gear to be used, hard. Salt. Sun. Carparks. Road trips. Daily surf checks.

Our Lifetime Guarantee covers faults in materials or workmanship for the life of your product under normal surf use. If something fails because it wasn’t built right, we’ll fix it. Simple.

Below is a clear breakdown of what’s covered and what’s not.

✅ Covered:

• Stitching failure under normal use

• Structural seam splits

• Strap anchor points are tearing due to a construction fault

• Buckles, clips or adjusters breaking prematurely

• Padding delamination caused by manufacturing defect

• Canvas defects that compromise board protection

• Internal lining separation due to workmanship issues

⚠️ Not Covered:

• Fin cuts or sharp object damage

• Airline or freight impact damage

• Dragging damage from concrete or rough surfaces

• Mould caused by storing covers wet

• UV fading or cosmetic wear

• Damage caused by overloading beyond intended use

Surfboards aren’t flat. They create pressure from inside the bag. Our covers are engineered to handle that — but misuse and impact damage aren’t manufacturing faults.

• Heavy wipeout damage

• Reef or board impact damage

• Sun fading and salt staining

• Fabric thinning from long-term wear

• Shrinkage from incorrect washing

Surf hats take a beating. They’re designed for performance, but like all gear, they still experience wear when used hard.

What Happens If Something Fails?

If your item qualifies under our Lifetime Guarantee:

• We’ll repair it wherever possible

• If it can’t be repaired, we’ll replace it

• If replacement isn’t available, we’ll offer store credit

• We guide you clearly through the process

We’re practical. We’re fair. And we don’t hide behind fine print.

We don’t believe in disposable surf gear.

Even if your item doesn’t qualify under warranty, we’ll help where we can. In many cases, products can be repaired and put back into circulation instead of ending up in  landfill.

Because the most sustainable product isn’t the one with the best marketing claim, it’s the one that lasts the longest.

• Accidental damage (reef cuts, burns, tears)

• Airline or freight mishandling

• Cosmetic wear and tear

• UV fading

• Improper storage (wet storage causing mould)

• Products altered, customised or modified

• Secondhand items without proof of purchase

• Commercial rental use

We design our gear for real surfers. But normal use and damage are not the same thing.
